⟡ Starburst Shawl ⟡
This textile was made with nettle and wool using an overshot technique. I started this piece in Colorado and finished it after moving to rural West Virginia. It can be used as a shawl, hung on a wall, draped over a window, used to meditate on, etc. Some yarn was dyed with indigo (blue) and brazil wood (pink/peach). Colorful starburst bursting through nettle! The warp was made with linen.
